Mighty morphing bass rangers!

I was at home watching an old movie called Pinky (1949) one Saturday afternoon, which turned out to not be very politically correct (white actress playing black who could pass for white) but the main character’s mum was full of wise sayings and at one point she said ‘Well, it only takes a little leaven to leaven a whole loaf.’

The phrase got stuck in my head so I googled it. Turned out to be a phrase from the Bible and variously interpreted in most languages over the centuries.

I have no idea where the idea for the sound came from, but this was one of the very rare occasions where the lyric existed before the song. I stopped the movie midway and was compelled to write this song.

It allowed me to have fun with early 80’s synths and Vocoder!
